tree sap solutions?
lots of choices here...
washing the car might set the sap-
best thing to do is try whatever you decide to try on a small area- if it works, then go for the rest of the car.
some of the choices:
wd-40
tar and bug removers (several products here- i like autoglym's)
butter
peanut butter (not crunchy)
alcohol
quick detailers
gasoline
kerosine
compounds
and plenty more
really depends on what kind of sap it is as to which product does the best.
cold water is one of the worst solutions (it can harden the sap)... so dont go there first, unless the car is dirty (you dont want to work any solution into the paint if its at all gritty- swirl or scratches can result)-
if its really dirty, you have to wash it- if its just dusty, then dust it off first and use a detailers spray before anything else.
