Couple weeks ago, i got bored so i decided to wax the car. Everything came out perfect accept for the cf hood! So now, everytime it's dry, u can see mildew all over! First, i thought it was the hood was blemishing but i relized it was the wax. I tried scrubing it off with laundry detergent, since it's stronger than car wash soap. Still same problem. Anyone know how i can get the wax off?

 

what type of wax did you use??

carnuba - a strong solution of dawn dishwahing soap should take the wax off

Zaino (or something like it) rubbing alcohol should remove it

If the dawn doesn't work, it will need polishing.

i know it did wonders on Xplosiv's

 

I'll try to take a pic of it today before i attemp to get it off for you guys. I think i used either armor all or some generic kind.. i forgot. So rubing alcohol won't take off the clear coat? I'll try dawn first
