lots of good ideas in there... the main one is you gotta make sure that its wax. if so, should be able to get it off.
i know the porsche top cleaner and have used it often. pbutter is prob your cure, but check out the thread for other ideas.

peanut butter . Thanks for the advice it worked fantastic. i heated it up for about 15 seconds and then let it sit on the wax spot for a minute, wiped it off and washed it. It looks as good as new, just makes my car smell like peanut butter

i love peanut butter, i wouldbt compain about the smell, although i bet i would always be hungry if my car smelled like it.
