Default Waxing

A couple weeks ago I detailed my car outside and in. I used nxt and topped with two coats mother's pure caranuba. Still beads beautifully, but want to keep it protected. Should i just keep applying mother's on top or start with nxt again? I think nxt is a cleaner and will strip off the caranuba, right?

Thanks

Jay

you are right- the nxt will clean off the carnauba...
just keep carnaubing it-
and actually, i would use a different synthetic- nxt does not last very long.
but as long as its o.k., just keep topping it with carnauba- you can prob get away with a nice shine doing this for a year or so.

pics??? we love pics around here- can you tell?

I'm curious about this too. I am thinking about getting p21s, and wanted to know what to use/apply before it?

You can keep it protected by making a QD/Wax mixture. A mild spray wax if you will.

Blackfire, Klasse, and Finish First are good starters.

i am impressed!!

(that you remember and that you have the image!)

yes, especially for someone learning synthetics, finish first is one of the easiest that i know of ... apply it lightly, let it cure, remove it and do it one more time and you are finished.

you can then p21s it or wait until next time you wash the car.
