I believe that you are supposed to put on a new coat of Z1 every 6 months or every 6 coats of Z2 or Z5. I believe that the Z5 is supposed to be able to remove light swirl marks, perhaps requiring a few coats to do so. The Z2, on the other hand, is optically better. I think that Sal Zaino says to always finish with a coat (or more) of Z2. Using Z6 after each coat of Z2 will also make a difference.
