Mine didn't come with instructions so I didn't know about seasonging it....It left streak marks everywhere (harmless wax), so I hated it.

After seasoning it, it performs much, much better.

Another word of advice that I didn't know about...don't use it on a hot car. The wax on the duster will streak again and leave marks on the car.

Got mine yesterday, and seasoned it for about 30 hours. Tried it on my car today, it did leave some black marks. i guess its because it is new.

It will get better as it gets dirtier. Also, keep in mind that the "seasoning" works better when the temperature is a bit higher. Lately where you are, even inside the house, the temps are a bit "cool" as opposed to in the summer when things are more like around 24*C or more.
Another thing to keep in mind, when you use the Duster, do NOT use pressure. Just let gravity work for you on the top surfaces and use no more than the equivalent of gravity when you dust the sides.

I use a California duster for the exterior. I've got a dry swiffer for my interior, seems to work great. Could there be any potential problems using a dry swiffer?

i use Griot's leather care, also works well.
