your wheels are clear coated- you can use whatever you use on the paint to protect the wheels.
on mine now is zaino z-2

there are wheel products, such as one called wheelwax- which is combo synthetic and wax.

i prefer pure synthetic- or top it with wax

Use synthetic wax, most withstand MUCH higher temperatures than the carnuba wax. Meg's Synthetic stays on for good 5 to 8 washes before additional application is needed.

Poorboy's wheel wax... great for minimizing brake dust.

i didnt think about the excessive heat of the breaks. but yes, i noticed when i applied mother's carnuba wax that the brake dust on my ap2's didnt cling on as much. good to know- will switch to synthetic once i get the $$

It will stick, not as much tho. But the HUGE Plus is that all you have to do to get rid of the brake dust is spray them with water. It comes RIGHT off with some wax on the wheels.

When brake dust starts to stick more and you have to scrub itis when you wanna rewax them.

better than water is a detailers spray... and better than that is one with either carnauba or synthetic base-
