At what stage can I use ceramic coating?
Sorry if it's a noob question but I am just starting to dip my feet into detailing again. Can I apply ceramic coating after wax or before? If I'm doing a more in depth paint correction that involves cutting compound, polish and wax....when should I apply ceramic coating?
Thanks

This page has some good info on detailing and the various procedures to keep your car looking great.
Look under the Coatings section for info on ceramics and other types of semi-permanent coatings.
Hope this helps!

You will want to wash your car in Dawn and then dry completely with a microfiber towel. You will then go over it with a clay bar until smooth. Look up the proper technique for clay bar use. Once the car is clean, dry, clayed, and cool inside a shaded area, apply the ceramic coating but not when it is 100 degrees outside.
The point is to have smooth perfect paint without any wax on it. That is why you use Dawn. You want to fill the pores of the paint with ceramic and not have wax blocking the ceramic from attaching to the paint.
