I'd like to know what you guys do. There has to be an easier approach than scrubbing at the panel.

try just polishing it with a white polishing pad and a #1 polish after washing the car, then apply your glaze or sealant then your wax.

The best way is to not use it.

SG needed a re-formulation about 5 years ago.

Buy Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger instead.

OK, back to your question. I used to use the Klasse twins a lot, the key to SG is extremely thin coats. So thin that in the right light you can barely tell that the product has been applied to the car. This makes removal somewhat easier.

The second thing is to use another product to aid in removal of SG, I like to use Sonuc Acrylic Spritz to help remove the SG. Lightly spritz (pun intended) a panel with Sonuc Acrylic before trying to wipe off the SG, you'll be amazed at how easily the SG comes off with this method. This was my favorite method until I started using Werkstatt's products, at which point I realized just how badly SG needs to be updated.

yes, you might be better with another product that is easier to use... but
my thoughts:

i like to apply synthetics with the pc- you can control the amount applied and can get it more even imo with the machine. use a pad with no cutting action. apply product to the pad and dab an area with the pad before turning on the machine. then with the machine lightly touching the paint start the machine on a low setting (3 or lower to start). as you apply, you should barely be able to see the product anywhere on the car (a very light haze tells you that you have the amount right).
after it cures, i also like to remove by machine (by hand is fine) - i use an mf bonnet over a lambswool pad on the pc. again, keep the speed fairly low. front to back only.

then i would top with p21s (old style) or other wax.

I have linked this several times but not finding it at the moment it is at proper autocare.com on Klasse tips!
The most important and easiest way is to let SG dry overnight! If you do not do this you will hate life very much in trying to get this stuff off! Matter of fact I let it dry 3 days one time but I find the 1 to 2 days is easier!
Second you first remove SG with a wet towel then followed by a dry buffing towel working one panel at a time - SG comes off very easy this way; if it does not your first rag is not wet enough.
Pm me if you need link I will find it!
