Whats next after washing?
After you wash the car, what do you do first? Wax it or polish it? And then when you want to condition your top, do u condition the top first or wax and polish the body. Cause sometimes the conditioner gets on the body and messes up the wax job, but the wax sometimes gets on the top and ruins the clean top.
Tip for a good wash is to use a separate wash and a rinse bucket so you minimize the dirt trapped in the mitt from marring the surface which creates swirls
Polish to remove swirls/brighten paint
layered wax/sealant is typically the last beauty steps
Since polishing/waxing creates dusting, do the top last...remove excess wax with rubbing alcohol/soft toothbrush/credit card wrapped in microfiber.
Spray top conditioner on rag AWAY from car so you don't get it on the paint finish, then apply to top...never spray it on the soft top directly.
Hope this clears up your thinking
