Default What's wrong with people?

Plumber came in to fix a few things. Needed a flashlight. I handed the light to him and said be careful with it and told mom about it. I left. Come back mom told me guy left with the light with out saying anything. I looked around and yep, no where to be found. Landlord said he will call the guy and never did.

WTF? People just going to drive me nuts. Plus I am unemployed so buying another one actually IS a pain at the moment. Sigh.

Any one have anything stolen by plumbers or electricians? I will be extra careful from this point on.

Why not contact the plumber yourself and ask for it's return.

If you stole something, would you say "OK ill bring it back?". Pointless to call them. When something is stolen, its STOLEN

maybe it was just an accident, and the guy put it in his tool bag like it was his. You call the company that did the work and ask them to return your light, you and your Mom witnessed him using it and not returning it. I would think 99 percent of contractors would admit to having it and taking it by mistake. I've had it happen to me with different tools, don't feel like it's a lost cause you just need to make a phone call if you're up to it. Give the guy a chance to return it first.

Not in this economy. Everything is for grabs.
