When to use 3M swirl remover?
I soon plan on waxing my S. Start with the HD cleanse to remove the old wax and then the Japon wax. Since the 3M is a mild abrasive should I use it before or after the application of japon wax or before the HD cleanse? Will the Japon wax help to hide the swirl marks as well? Thanks in advance.
Wash, clay, scrub wheels and tires, wash, dry, properly compound, properly polish, they wax.
'Most' swirl removers just hide the problem. 99% of them have heavy filler in them. So it looks like you fixed it but you didn't. Swirl remover for the most part fill in the low spots so the light doesn't reflect off them. So it seems like you fixed it when in fact you really didn't do anything but cover them up. The mild abrasives help to remove dirt the most people do remove... because most people don't clay their cars.
If you wax your car and the paint looks better your not done polishing the paint.
Wax is just a protectant.
