Default windshield seal lube

I went to the dealer to buy some silicone based lube for the rubber seals around the top--the owners manual said to apply it twice a year. Anyways, the dealer said they didnt sell anything like that and that I had to get the service people to put it on. I'm not about to spend money to pay someone to do something I can easily do myself. Does anyone know what exactly it is? And where can I buy it? Also, any tips for getting rid of the rattles I have in my top? I thought about trying compressed air to blow the dirt out--any suggestions would be cool.

RUN! Don't walk, from that dealer.
You can also use a rubber safe silicone spray. Spray on a cloth and wipe it on all the rubber seals on the car. Also, if the Honda grease is too pricey for you, all car manufacturers market their own brand of window seal treatment and most are much cheaper. For example, GM sells a Silicone Emulsion that works quite well.
(You didn't think that Honda window seals are made of some mystery substance, did you? )

Thanks for the info--I'll have to check that out. But does anyone have any tips still to get the rattles out of the top? Thanks.

the dealer has shinitsu grease ... they just dont know it!
when i take my car in for service, i have them put it on the seals so i dont have to keep the stuff. in between i use 303 or vinylex.

to get rid of the top rattles, there is a thread that has a couple ideas- my top is only up a couple times a year (if it rains), but i have put that tubing that gives fish tanks air on the fingers of the top clasp- tightens it enough to get rid of the rattles.
the thread also gives the instructions to adjust the top (not easy) and also a tip to use some type of shrink wrap plastic stuff.
