Autozone did not have the Bosch Icon's in stock. So I tried the Rain-X version of Bosh Icon's. They are bad. It skips an area (cannot quite match the curvature of our windshield).

I had Bosh Icon's or my Accord. They are wonderful.

ok guys i've been meaning to post up this info for awhile - so here u go.
here are the results of a Consumer Reports Nov 2008 windshield wiper blade test. They gave over 180 members of their staff these various models to test for 6 months. they found that nothing worked all too well after that long, and that pricey blades weren't always better. Let's take in mind some of these might not work for the s2k as well as a staff-tester's accord though.
name / $ 18-inch / $ 24-inch / rating (out of 100)
Valeo 600 Series $9 / $15 / 72
RainX Latitude* 17 / 21 / 70 <- highest 6 month rating, but had a lower initial rating.
Anco 31 Series 7 / 10 / 66
Michelin RainForce 7 / 7 / 65
Anco Contour* 18 / 20 / 65
Valeo 900 Series* 20 / 17 / 64
PIAA Super Silicone 18 / 24 / 62
Bosch Icon* 18 / 22 / 60
RainX Weatherbeater 6 / 10 / 60
Trico Exact Fit 10 / 13 / 59
* denotes "beam" design aka no external frame

Thats the top ten of the 15 tested. Only the RainX Latitude, the Valeo 900, and Trico didn't have the highest mark - Excellent - initial and rather had Very Good (next highest). All were rated Good after six months (rainx latitude rated very good).
Once again, this isn't 100% fool proof as who knows how heavy any rain was these people experience, their windshield angle, if the car was kept outside or garaged, how fast they drove, etc.

Hope this may help someone

I use the Valeo wipers. Only been about 4 months, so far but like them better than other wipers I have used. They have that curve to them like some other wipers but no so much it creates a gap. And no annoying metal frame either.

I do use P21S windshiled wash booster, and my windshield has Aquapel on it, because anything Rain-X sucks big fat ones.

Personally, I haven't used anything other than Bosch and I've yet to be dissapointed.

Thanks Matt! That does seem to cast some doubt on the value of expensive wipers. Valeo 600, eh?

The sales guy at Autozone showed me that exact report when I was looking at wipers. As a result I ended up going with the RainX Lattitudes for the S. I've only had them on for a few weeks, but so far, I'm fairly impressed with them. They leave no streaks and don't seem to skip across the windshield. YMMV...

I have the Rain-X latitudes on my S for the past three months. They might have worked great in cars with flatter windshields (less curvature), but in the S, they don't work as well. At first it was OK. Now, the last 2 inches does not swipe well (leaves marks). Last two inches on the passenger does not even touch the windshield on the lowest position.

I will go with Bosch Icon's next time. I had them on my Accord for over a year, and they work like they were new.

I had this issue with the Bosch Icons on my Miata, where the outer edge of the passenger side blade did not contact the windshield. Thus, for the S I went with the more "conventionally" designed PIAA silicone, which seem to work well.
