Thumbs up Z6'ing the car without washing ?

I washed the car 2 days ago and have driven for the past 2 days in clear weather. As long as I don't drive in the rain or drive through some mud puddles or the car isn't really dirty, is it ok to maintain the exterior like every 2-3 days with just the Z6 without washing the car? Would it create swirls and scratches? Would the Z6 lubrication and the usage of an MF towel be enough to buffer the dirt? The car is a daily driver and after 2-3 days, the only thing that's really on the car is dust and some minor dirt I guess. I'm asking this because on the Z6 bottle, it says it can be used in between washes (whatever that means). I live in an apt complex and it's a pain to wash often, plus it's freezing out now. I figure if I only drive in dry weather and maintain it this way, I can get away with using just the Z6 through winter. TIA.

absolutely o.k.- i do it all the time... i sometimes use z6, but usually use a carnuba based detailers spray.

i always inspect first- if any sand or grit at all i do not quick detail until i have washed it. but if it looks like you describe, i use the duster and dust off the car (it usually looks pretty good at that stage)- then spray an area and wipe it down with a high quality microfiber towel.

in you case, you just want to make sure that the "minor dirt" is not dirt that contains anything that might scratch. .. as long as its just normal driving smudges- go for it!

I also regularly use Z6 for a quick wipe down on a non-just-washed-but-still-pretty-clean car. Works well for me, I would say have at it!

z6 with a super clean and soft MF towels are fine..

after that, i'd recommend hitting it z8 as its more of a spray sealant layer, and less of a quick detailer.. wait a few hours and watch magic bling unfold before your eyes..

and on that nfr.. wooooaahhhh.. it'll be awesome !

Thanks guys. I went ahead and cleaned the car with Z6. After doing just the hood, the Z6 was running down the hood in black droplets and after wiping down the hood, the MF towel was already dirty lol. By the time I was finished with the entire car, the towel was filthy even though I refolded the towel a few times to expose a clean side.
