Well look in one of your replies. You said, "Either way, if you look at what's in it, you would know that it can't cause paint damage." You told me to look at what's in it, so I asked you where I could find that info. Evidently I cannot look look at what's in it because that information is not publicly listed anywhere.

They don't list ingredients (that would be kinda stupid for competition purposes) but if you call Sal, I'm sure he can answer and questions you might want to ask him about harmful effects.
I'm sure Sal believes that there are no harmful effects else he wouldn't be selling the product (I hope). Yes it makes sense that the ingredients aren't listed but YOU are the one that told me to good look at them.

Nope, I want some testimonials from people who have used the products for 5-10 years (on the same car/paint) so I can better understand the long-term effects (good or bad). That's was the original post asked for...

Don't do it then...it seems pretty simple to me. If you want more answers about Zaino, go to the car care section on the corvetteforum. There are guys there that have used it for many years. They are now distributors though, so they are going to give you those answers that Sal gives them and what they know from personal experience(because they're true).

Just seems to me like you're trying to find all these reasons not to try something. It's not like a marriage. If you don't like it after you try it, don't use it. This is car care, not rocket science.

Call Sal (that's where the answers are) and he will answer all your questions. He knows more than all of us put together. He'll defend his product, but he knows it's weaknesses (which is why there will be a new product coming soon but can't talk about that it's a whole nother post).

Good luck and happy waxing.

Vipers have been around a lot longer than S2000s, and some of those guys have been using it for years. It's effective, addictive, and I've never heard of a negative comment about it's effects...

If you need more convincing, take look at this thread, since this is what sold me.

If this doesn't convince you, then you should obviously stick with what you're doing and move on.

The only negative I see is the drying time below 60F, as Sal indicates on the each bottle. During the winter I have to let it sit overnight before buffing it off.

It actually dries quite fast above that temperature, like during the spring and summer.

Otherwise, the Zaino is really fantastic stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions shizon'00 (finally) and drogers. I'll checkout some Vette and Viper forums and see if I can confirm that Zaino has no negative long term effects.

owning a s2k as well as a corvette presently, and many other sport's car's over the past 15 yrs. wet looking ,deep shine paint is a must.you make the investment in the vehicle you should keep it show room.i've used all the wax and synthetic's on the market with mostly very good results.my vette has been zaino treated the last year & half since new(use clay bar first-a must).the other week i was in a local car show positoned next to another nbm(navy blue metalic) non zaino vette.i was surprised how much deeper my paint looked then his, wetter even.good product and after the initial treatment it's as easy as any other paint care products....just my 2 cents.wondering about the s2k,have only had it 3 month's,but it will be covered in zaino soon...
