Default Zanio recommendations for Sebring Silver?

Hi All,

I was hoping that someone familiar with the Zanio line could recommend a good combination for my Sebring Silver.

My car is garaged always, so I would like to use a wax with zero polish in it. No cleaners, just carnuba.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

If you are looking for carnuba my friend, you WON'T find it in any of the Zaino products. www.zainobros.com

If you want a good carnuba wax most have good results with P21S/S100 and Meguiars #26. You also say that you want "just carnuba." None are 100% pure or it would be a hard block. The highest concentration of carnuba are in waxes by Zymol and are rather expensive and many feel that they aren't worth it.

I myself use Zaino on my S2000 but have used meg's #26 for many years. Our second car, a 93 Honda accord still looks damn impressive after 9 years of Meguiar's products including the cleaner wax.

I agree, P21S is a good carnuba wax. I was very happy with it on my S.

I would recommend you don't give up on polish. The term "polish" no longer refers only to an abrasive substance used to clean or refresh paint. It is almost a generic term used to define a wax-like product that does not contain wax.

Zaino for example is called a polish yet it contains no abrasives.

No Carnuba or any other wax for that matter in Zaino. Zaino is 100% synthetic. Many people will still refer to it and other synthetic products like Klasse or Blackfire as a wax. Technically they are not, which is my Zaino markets it self as a polish. If you are going to use a synthetic I would recommend Zaino, if you decide to use a wax I would give PS21 a try.

Zaino is strong like bull.

When I moved to the black car my P21S would melt off in the hot Colorado sun. Zaino can withstand much higher temps and thus stays on the car.

I use it on my mom's car, because every few months she nags the crap out of me to wax her car. Now with Zaino on for months she calls and brags about how she shouldn't even pay for the car wash because the dirt almost rinses off and the dry guys barely have to touch the car after it gets out of the blower machine.

I have a Sebring, am very happy w/ the Zaino. Got a door ding yesterday, it just came right off. Water runs off the car like it was teflon coated. Looks nice and shiny, too!

One of my buds doesn't like Zaino because it doesn't let the paint "breathe" - it is not a carnuba, it is based on other polymers.

But I say, try it, it's REALLY easy to use and takes just minutes to apply.

As for removal, I think a good wash w/ Dawn followed by a clay bar should remove it.

Very easy to take off- provided you don't put too much on the car which is the tendency for first timers. A little goes a very long way so initially you have a hard time believing you are using enough. When applied properly all you have to do is take the towel and wipe it across the surface of the car. You really don't have to apply any pressure. Not counting drying time I probably apply the polish and remove the residue in less than 10 minutes on my S2000. I spend far longer washing & drying the car than I do applying and removing Zaino.
