Yes. It seems to go a long way as I have detailed three cars with multiple coats and still have a little left.

The contents of the ZFX vial measures 2ml. Using a mix ratio of 4 drops per ounce of polish, that will accommodate 2, 8oz bottles of polish. The ZFX mixing bottle has a 2 oz capacity. It only takes 1/2 oz of polish for 3 coats on the S2k.

you're kidding. it takes me about .75 oz to cover the car with just one coat. granted, I'm very thorough, and make sure there's good coverage on everything, and I even do inside the door jams, and inside the fuel door. but there's no way I could do 3 coats w/ .5 oz and feel like I'm getting good coverage with each coat. maybe it's because I tend to Zaino my car in a moderately lit garage (since I wash my car at dusk), and I can't see when I've covered an area, so I tend to overcompensate. but 3 coats w/ .5 oz is stretching it pretty well.

Not kidding. Helped a guy today with a Suzuka Blue car. 1/2 oz got us 3 coats. All you have to see is the applicator leave a very thin trail across the surface to have sufficient coverage. If you can see the product "laying" on the finish, you're using too much. Moisten the applicator slightly with water or Z-6 (preferred) to help the polish flow better.

I get a good three coats from 1 ounce with some usually left over. I think last time, I mixed up 1/2 ounce and did two good coats. I don't usually do multiple coats in the doors and trunk, but I usually get at least one coat there. Some use more, some use less. I've noticed that I tend to spread Z2 thinner than Z5. Not sure if it's psychological (since I want Z5 to fill swirls) or just the difference in the compound itself. But 3/4 of an ounce is a lot for one coat.

tritium...Yes, slightly dampen the pad and then only put a dime size drop of polish on it. Apply in large circular motion just to spread it out, then use straight lines before leaving that section. The dime size drop will cover 1/2 the hood. It also helps to use Z-6 before applying the first coat. This will make the surface slick and help the polish to spread easily.
