Default Zymol trick

You know how Zymols recommends you melt there wax in you palms and apply by hand...well I really wasn't interested in scratching my finish with my old callused hands so I took my clean foam applicator and wet it with DM water then zapped it in the microwave for 5-7 seconds. It gets nice and warm....

My new tub of Zymol Ital melts like butter on the pad. It really works nice, however I've been wondering ever since I started playing around with the blackfire sealant and wax weather or not it would work with other products. Zymol doesn

Quite the idea, and here's a thread that will be of interest to you:

A trick for those who like to wax by hand, but is restricted to tubs with large openings:

I always get a small container and fill it with really warm water...then simply place the zymol bottle in it (neck sticking out). After a couple of minutes the wax is warm and you can usually get almost half of the car done before you have to warm it back up again (depending on how cold it is outside).

If you want to get creative go buy some of those hand warmer packets and just tape them to the zymol container.

That wax is fantastic when its warm.

I think there's a guy on Autopia that used to heat his applicator in an old toaster oven when he used Zymol.

I've never thought of this warming trick before, good idea. I'd assume this would work with most pastes too.

I got the idea from a story on TV. They were talking about sterilizing your sponges because they contain all kindas of bacteria and stuff. Of course some idiot put a dry sponge in the microwave for like 5 minutes and set the house on fire!!! After I finished laughing....the wax applicator light went off. Weird how that works.
