** Stepping down as CO **
The time has come. I am stepping down as CO, and more than willing to pass the torch to someone who can run SD, alongside Castro. I've met great friends here, best friends actually, and have many memories that I will always cherish. Being apart of this community, I've learned so much about myself, and I watched myself grow with the other members here in SD. I could not have believed that because of an interest in a specific car, It made me who I am today, and gave me a set of great friends that I can count on for the rest of my life.
When I became CO, my main goal was to put a very unheard SD on the map. Look at us now. One of the most prolific, well known, heavy hitters on s2ki. We have the members that did it all. We have the members that did what couldn't be done. And we had the members that weren't afraid to do anything, when everyone doubted us. We are the highly praised and impossible was never in our vocabulary. We set the tone, we set the standard.

The Community Organizer is something of a social director. They are usually someone who is active in organizing events and get-togethers in the local area. Because of this active participation they are well known to the community and have the confidence of the community.
Always remember that the canidate should be a leader and lead by example. Obviously own a S2000 and be a actual member of S2KI.

I strongly feel that the new CO needs to be the type that lays down the law around here... and keep the section civil... and mature...
a good cop bad cop CO team...
we all know that Jose is the good cop...
not saying that the new CO should be an asshole but more of the Abraham Lincoln type that will keep this division in check...
