Sorry to hear Ben! Glad you guys are ok though.

Not sure on the car being totaled or not though. The game breaker is going to be how much suspension damage you have. I can't tell much from the pics, but it seems like the suspension MIGHT have dodged the brunt of the damage. Your rear looks fine...possible knuckle damage on the front.

Either way, the insurance should be able to take care of you. There's no way the guy can get out of fault with how that damage looks.
So the update is both insurance companies acknowledged fault of the lifted truck (finally lol) after providing plenty of documentation and a witness. They sent an estimator to come out, who never provided an estimate for an s2k before. AAA is writing a check for only $4500 which I don't think will cover the damage. However, if it is more, they will be paying for it, that's for sure lol. I looked up the kelly blue book value for the mileage and condition it Was in, kbb reported between 18-21k.. so yeah don't think it will be totaled, which makes me happy. I also was able to drive my s2k to the repair shop after realizing the noise was just grinding of the tire compartment against the tire. Told the story to the repair shop (purrfect auto repair) and said make my baby like new man! Haha. so hopefully all will pan out with nothing different than before except a new paint job
Good to hear man. We'll see you at the next meet

btw...your car is a MAN?

Sorry to hear but you need to escalate the fight.
You car WAS worth 18-21.. Since it has been in an accident, it is now worth 15-17 even if completely fixed. If you don't walk away with cash on top of repair costs, I'd be pissed off and then some.

Got it back to normal, repair shop did nice job and replaced both front tires as well. Though unfortunately didn't have much money left over from what the insurance gave me to offset the reduction of the car's value :/
