Default 2006 S2000

I found some photos and a list of changes for the 2006 model but I don't know how to post them. Plus, I probably can't since I'm only a guest. Let me know if you want a look at the photos.

updates for the 2006 models are as follows:

237hp (New SAE (Rev 8/04) ratings - although the engine/trans. is actually unchanged)
Laguna Blue Pearl Exterior (It's a Darker blue than the suzuka)
Gone is the Tan interior
Revised 17" Rim design. It's a multispoke, but it's more symmetrical

Std. Roll bar mounted Speakers. Pretty neat, they're mounted flush on the vertical lower part of the roll bars. They say the whole audio system is more powerful than before.

Std. VSA (Stability/Trac. Assist) The Switch is where the defroster switch used to be. And the Defroster switch is now between the roof control and Hazard buttons

New Dual Stage/Dual Threshold Airbags with a weight sensor in the Passenger seat that deactivates the air bag @ 66lbs or less.

New Steering wheel design...it's got some dimples near the 3:00 and 9:00, and a Mesh pattern with the floating "H" on the center.

The seats no longer have the mesh hoops in them It's a solid seat/headrest.

New Drive by wire Throttle for better response and efficiency.

Gas mileage goes from 19/25 to 20/25. (probably due to the drive by wire)

New Emergency Brake assist, and Daytime Running Lights (DRL)

The horsepower hasn't changed, only the way they measure and report it.

Joe,

It will beat many "S" out there. People discard and denounce the VSA. Many ferraris, and high end cars have them.

Same power, New Sae HP rating. Laguna Blue will hold value, as <800 in the USA.

Oh man, just looked at the new pics. WTF happen to the seats Change is good yah, but damn they screwed the seats up. Not digging the steering wheel, bu then again all that can be changed if it drives and performes. Guess I'll have to wait, cosmetic wise there are a few things I really don't like.

KInd regards,
Joe
