Default DIY for re-installing the stock suspension?

Does anyone have a link to a DIY thread for uninstalling coilovers and re-installing OEM suspension? Also, any tips or tricks that would come in handy when re-installing the OEM hardware?

have you checked Under The Hood section and FAQs? there might be something there.

OEM suspension in my experience is a paint to do the rears, especially by yourself, since the sway bar keeps the hub from dropping enough to throw the tall OEM suspension in. So you can either disconnect the sway bar, have someone put weight on the hub, or do what i do since i always work by myself--use the OEM scissor jack and a piece of wood. i sit the jack on the rear A arm and place a block of wood on top then expand the jack so it pushes the entire hub town enough to get clearance to put the suspension in. It won't damage the top of the fender well.

Man your method sounds like something I'll have to try if I ever have to tackle re-installing OEM suspension again in the future. I just had a buddy stand/push on a bar that would force the whole rear assembly downward and force the struts into place while he bolted them up from the top.

yup, try it next time! you tend to come up with creative ideas when you have to do all the work on your car yourself! haha

i used to have people stand on the hub and push down, but even that wasn't enough sometimes and the person would get tired. with the jack method, i can get it well clear to get the OEM suspension in and it can be held in the down position as long as i need it there.
