Default free muz/ricks x brace

Just did my first oil change since the CTSC setup was put on, and jeff and mike were right, that X-brace is a pain in the ass. So whoever wants a free muz/ricks x-brace, just take it off my car and its yours.

It doesn't get much better than that.

Question - I thought the Muz (whiteline) was designed to clear oil changes? Is it the H-shaped version or an "X"?

I have a Neuspeed X-brace and it just barely clears the oil stream as it drains. I have to wipe a bit off when i'm done but it is minimal.

I really like the improved feel with a lower cross-brace. Are you planning on replacing it?

Its fine for normal oil changes but with the ctsc kit you have a huge oil return line that goes to the supercharger and the x brace gets in the way. Its the x shaped one with a solid bar connect the one side of the x btw.

I've received a shit ton of messages, so my next day off is saturday. So whoever wants to get it that day, its theirs. If you can do it on saturday just let me know and ill pm you my number.

Richard I think you have the Ricks brace. For anyone going to take this off bring some sort of Breakfree because it's rusted on.

Well I guess sometime between thursday and this morning I got some super strength or muscles magically and I was able to take it off myself. hahaha

Or maybe it was the 1000 gallons of pb blaster I drowned it with.

As far as getting a different x-brace, I'll ask around some of the other people who are CTSCed and see which X-brace they are using. I hear this X-brace is one of the best ones out there but oil changes that take 1 hour + are not my thing.
