Hard Lessons

Sometimes it takes a hard lesson to realize how precious our lives are. I experienced it last weekend.
On 03-18-06, around 7:30PM I was on Otay Lakes Road heading westbound from the Otay Lakes Reservoir. As many of you know this is a twisty road and not residential (no lights, houses, visible signs of life). As I was heading back to EastLake to attend my friends party, I entered a 35mph turn faster than normal. Given the wet conditions of a rainy weekend and the dirt/gravel that was kicked onto the road as a result of the storms, I went into a spinout. I tried to counter-maneuver, but knew that it was too late.

Sounds like you had a moment of clarity.... I hope all is well and that everything works it's way out.
Sometimes the biggest events in our lifes...tragic or accidents...are truely a blessing in disguise.

Yep, always thought I relished life to it's fullest. But after this I TRULLY UNDERSTAND HOW FRAGILE LIFE IS.
