Wow, this thread sorta blew up and this community has been on the low, which is not bad but its not good. I hope you guys find someone that is enthusiastic about bringing people together and hanging out because that's what a community strives on. There will always be a time of year where its a little slow because people have things to do and things come up but yes change isnt always bad and sometime needed. I dont know who would be good for the next CO position but it doesnt always need to rely on one man to make a community great, it takes the initiative of everyone and the enthusiasm of everyone to make a community special. Also the fact that a community is strived on the quality of people, not cars. So al those people that are afraid of coming out and hanging out because your car is stock, dont worry... hahahaha. Everyone has there own taste. As for Castro, I think would be a great candidate! Maybe it will be good nominate 2 people... just a thought. Good luck with this guys and hope to see you at the next SD BBQ.

well put. sorry if it kinda blew up. but i dont mean no disrespect in any way.

on that note about stock cars, a lot of members with stock car once said to me, that they feel intimidated to come out cuz our cars are "fixed up." like cyrus (panda) said, just come out, we need all you guys out too. i came to the meet as a stock car, everyone is cool and chill..other wise i wouldnt even come out to hang out.

I will have to admit that I have not been as active also, due to different priorities I have to take care of also on this forum. I know its no excuse, but I am really shooting for summer time to make SD pop again. We have our SD/Top Down BBQ coming up and those have been rock solid for the past 2 years. If AJ really would like to step down as CO, we can most definitely arrange something unless he wants to step it up again/ Honestly, SD has been known to be plagued of personal problems
