Default Lack of events

We are in 09' and so far not one exciting event planned this year. I live in BFE and driving 200 mi round trip for Fusion is not bad but in ain't fantastic either.

IE has like 10 events going already and the SD Forum feels dead.

I know that SD has been on a dry spell as of late due to the lack of events, but this is also due to the community itself. There have been several meets planned late last year, but majority of SD have trouble making them them due to personal reasons, active army/military, and students (like me) attending school, and so forth.

AJ and I will try our best to make the community "pop" again, since the only great event we do have is yearly, which it is the SD/TopDown BBQ, that has been going strong for 2 years and running.

Also, do remember that SD is one of the smaller cities still growing as compared to I/E who has Temecula/Riverside/San Bernardino and the others which are OC/LA etc.

CO's aren't the only ones who can set up meets. If you have an idea for a meet, group drive or whatever, doooo it.

Sometimes there are some lack of participation also. One person cannot do it all. Support is the key here not a hand out.
