WTF ? it has lo jack, on star, KARR kill start bal bal and the cops still have not found it. 60,000.00 SUV and close to 8g worth of anti-thief shit and no truck.

Wow that sucks.... Actually thought of getting lojack wheni purchased the S. To me, by the time I get the call if my car has been stolen.... It is already at TJ.

That is why I got the pager system. If the car even gets wind blown on it... I get paged. I rather get bother by false alarms then getting ripped off.

With Lo Jack you need to call the police first then they can use their scanner. The company (Lo Jack) can't/won't do anything.

update: so I waited the 24 hours and called lo jack company back. they said to send them a copy of the police report and copy of the lo jack work order. I asked them what next then said they would contact the dealer I bot the car from and then refund my money. I asked about the 5000.00 if the dont recover the car in 24hrs they told me that only covers the first 30 days after you buy the lo jack and told me where to look on my lo jack contract yeah its in the fine print but I looked all over the web site and found nothing that saids its only good for 30 days. I called a friend about it, Its a terms and conditions thing aka there nothing i can do about it. F-Lo jack and as for the on star I called them they are mailing me a clams form and well be refunded the cost and fees and up to 2500.00 to go and buy a new car and a free on star 5 yr package.

Lo jack is only useful if a ameature steals your car looking for a joy ride.

60K SUV/Truck .. unfortunatly that was a professional who stole it. escpecially if it was a European SUV/Truck those things are a pain in the ass to start with out certain hard to come by "tools". im sorry for your lose i hope the insurance process is as painless as possible.
