Just a reminder that CHP will be out and about with check points this weekend. Lots of activities and a lot of alcohol will be consumed...

Please be safe while on the roads.... Although WE would never drink and drive...you always have to watch out for the OTHER guy...

good heads up tim.. speaking of which, saturday nite i was hit up at a DUI breathalizer checkpoint on telegraphcanyon road. happy holiday.

 

Damn.... I'm staying away from there... I hate checkpoints..

Po-Po always looking to keep a brotha down....

On the other hand.... they do bust the ones that HAVE been drinking and should be off the roads..

yea.. they dont even kid around anymore.. usually the checkpoint conduct the standard test..

get outta the car, touch your nose, walk the line, alphabet...

but when i had to, the cop was like do the breath test.. no questions.. even made the passenger do it!.. man.. very strict.. im sure were gonna see lots of warnings on the news over the next few days..

what i noticed about checkpoints they are usually near bars/clubs/etc.. and on certain points of main roads to residential areas.. just keeping a look out.. stay safe..

even worse.. they made me pop my hood too! just another excuse, and attempted to write me up for the front plate.. good thing i still had my old ticket, it was my free pass when i flashed it to them..

it was on the intersection of telegraph canyon road and medical center drive..

it was on st. patricks day if i recall.. if you head towards eastlake try H St., since olympic is usually pretty flooded w/ cops too..

 

French, i've only see that on Telegraph canyon road...Never on Bonita road, H st, or Olympic...those are the ways to go....on nights with your clients

 

I've run in to DUI checkpoints on east H, it's usually right there at soon as you exit.

 

LOTS of cops out this weekend... CRAP! I'm keeping it below 75mph, just too many traffic cops out on bikes... come out of nowhere like ticket ninjas
