Looking 4 Eibach/Koni Combo
Hi, I'm looking for anyone else in SD running the Eibach springs with Koni Yellows shocks on their S.
I recently installed the Koni Yellows shocks and noticed that they are too low in the front and rub the fenders way too much. The rears have a 1 finger gap while the fronts have 1/2 finger gap at best. When I sit down in the car, the car gets 1/4 in. lower than that and rubs at times. Bear in mind that this is on the higher perch so I have no other choice to go any higher.
I already matched the part numbers and they are indeed for an s2000. They are also placed in the correct positions/places where they are listed to be installed. The only thing I can think of is that I may have defective shocks or over tightened the nuts therefore having the springs partially compressed at all times hence making it a little lower(especially in the front) than what they were intended to be.
I am calling out anyone that has this similar setup and would like to compare your S's stance to mine. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If there is any useful info anyone can also list that has prior/current experience with these shocks it would also be very helpful.

^^ I Installed them where the packaging specified for them to go. The front ones were individually packaged with the L(eft) and R(ight) after the part number to specify which side they go on while the rears came in one package and were not marked at all. I followed the instructions on where they are supposed to go. Something is not right with these shocks. Either they are constantly partially compressed or defective. They are on a higher perch...I had the fronts on the lower perch before and my tires were tucking inside the fenders.
usually the fronts will have more coils on them since they have to support more weight (depending on where engine is), but in our case, we have a 50/50 weight distribution, so maybe that theory can be thrown out? haha
Are you sure you installed them and pre-loaded everything before tightening everything down?
Since you think you might have compressed the springs to much, all you have to do is loosen the top hat nuts and the locking nut on the top of the shocks. Make sure you are on a flat surface, and then tighten everything back up.
