Haha... I always stick stuff in those spots but never cds.... is that what they are for??

If you could find the piece somewhere I'm sure u could put it on an 00. To save some trouble just get a cd case and stick em under ur seat haha that's what I do!!

Goodluck!

A heads up. No it doesn't fit. That is the short answer anyway. There was a member here on the site that tried to do the retro-fit and it became MUCH too involved. Its not just a matter of attaching that under tray to the passenger's side of the dash. Instead there is some cutting of our exisring dash along with costly parts.

I'll try to find the original post, but again it isn't worth it.

Yeah, I agree. Especially since we have a MY00 and don't even have the little mesh pockets in the door panels. People say those are pretty useless, but not having them at all is even worse.

I couldn't find the post about the failure of installing, but DID find how people talk about how the dash itself differs. They say there are same mesh pockets above that tray....up inside the dash. If our dash can't accomodate it, your looking at a full swap and a big can-o-worms.

I'd recommend Modifry's Glove Box Organizer (Linkie) if you don;t have one already. It really maximizes the big open space that is our current center console.

Modifry

Yeah, I really don't use the mesh thingies (they aren't deep,
and are really tight--can't put anything in 'em but receipts
or something), but the pseudo-glove box tray is kinda useful.

If you're handy with a saw, it probably wouldn't be too much
work to fashion a tray from thin plywood and felt... I do tend
to like the DIY approach though..
