Default Need a compressor

Turned on the AC the other day to get nothing but hot air. I was told I need a new compressor, but the quote from Honda is $800 just for parts.

Does anyone know anyone in the San Diego area with one sitting around, maybe someone who pulled theirs out to lighten the car up for track purposes? Give me a shout.

If you do have one, I will make an offer if you are wanting to sell.

Found out what the problem was. I had my mechanic look at it the other day when he changed my oil and he found a plug underneath that kicks on the compressor that wasn't on all the way. He literally looked underneath pushed the plug all the way on and had it fixed in 15 seconds.

So, the place I originally went to for diagnostic charged me $145 for 1.5 hr diagnostic and freon and tried to get me to spend $800 on a new compressor plus $98/hr for labor. They are either REALLY incompetent or they were trying to rip me off. I should go back there and tell them how quickly it was fixed and ask for a refund.
