Default Rim

Hello everyone , Im about to finally get a set of rims for the S. The problem im having is deciding between 17's or 18's , what do you all think?

what do you want to do with the car? 17s are good for almost anything; 18s are really only for show, since they increase unsprung mass and rotating inertia, and decrease sidewall height, damper effectiveness, and bearing life.

Just looks , I was thinking 18x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 in the rear but, I feel 18's look huge.

For looks get 18s!! Tires are more expensive but a good drop and 18s are beautiful

^^ Agreed...18's look beautiful. more tire choices available with thinner sidewalls(35 series or less). But tires are also more expensive.

Plus you can have less gap between the tire and fender with more ground clearance overall(easier to go over speed bumps).

Good point as well! You can fit them more flush while still being able to make it over most bumps. They look especially good with Bbs Lms but I may be biased on those =)

I think im set on 18inch BBS LMS, Im about to pick up some Buddyclub or Stance GR+ coilovers. So I hope with a low drop it will look a lot cleaner and flush. Thanks guys!
