Default Rolling quarter panels?

So I had my fenders rolled this past week with a eastwood fender roller but we didn't get a chance to roll the quarter panels yet. Before I attempt to, I want some feedback. I know some of you guys here cut the lip but i don't want to. To have them rolled, do I have to cut a slit every couple inches to roll the quarter panel? Or just start rolling them the way it is? (I know i have to remove the plastic piece and relocate the bumper tab). Thanks.

Please, don't cut slits in it. This will cause horrible dimples. Just slap the roller on the hub, heat the fender and use the roller to roll the quarter panel lip
