Hi all,

Check on my car at the shop, and the tech told me he couldnt' align the car because there's suspension damage to the front driver's side. The camber adjustment bolt is adjusted to full negative, but I have zero (or even slightly positive) camber. He couldn't tell by looking at it though what was damaged.

Does anyone know a place that can tell me what components need to be replaced? Or does anyone here have the ability to tell by looking at it?

I'd like to avoid doing a "hit-or-miss replacement" method of trying to figure out what's wrong if at all possible.

Thanks in advance!

that sounds like my front passenger side. I picked up a used (but supposedly good condition) lower A-arm, but have yet to install it.

sorry for the worthless post

How sure are you that it's the lower control arm? And how did it get damaged?

I've had positive camber ever since I ran over (I think) 3 wooden 2 x 4's on the fwy like 4 yrs ago. When Isaac rolled my fenders a few months ago, we maxed out the camber and it got to barely even (0 degrees). He seemed to be pretty positive it was a bent lower A-arm, so I found one fairly cheap and bought it. Jsut gotta get my roommate to install it!

When they aligned your car, did they turn on SAI as one of the readings?

Trueline does hand alignments as does the shop that my car is at now. I'm hesitant to take it to them if i'm gonna end up paying them to tell me they can't tell what the problem is. My current alignment shop can't tell what it is. I'm still under the insurance claim, so if I can get the insurance to pay for a full knuckle replacement, that's what i'll do.
