Best food in San Diego is Azule in La Jolla or the Restaurant at the US Grant in Downtown (also has free and safe valet parking if you eat there). 100 bucks or so for a meal for two with a drink.

As someone else reccomended, top of the Hyatt is a really nice place to grab a cocktail.
