I know a guy in El Cajon, not sure on prices, since I haven't gone to him for mine yet, but if you're in the area, I can connect you with him.

a few friends have gone down to the SD area from LA to have these guys do their tattoos. they're pretty damn good. see their work on several people. a little high on price but it's worth it. you pay for what you get, it's gonna be on you all of your life. don't cut corners.

I know the owner of a shop somewhere around gas lamp...i can ask for pricing tomorrow.

I've never gotten a tattoo...what are things that would affect price, cause you might want to list things...

size? number of colors? etc?

I'll let you know tomorrow-ish.

first, it's tattoo

second, I would personally never "cut costs" on something that is going on my body in ink, but hey, that's just me

third, the best shop in town is in PB, called Chronic Tattoo, has the best artists in town. I think mine was $100/hr which is standard for a top shop. I use Ugly Bill, but I believe he has quite a waiting list. Call and see who is available. Ask about pricing also, each artist is different, and mine was done over a year ago. Rates may change.
