last night after kens house i went home (right across the street).. and i saw my roommate had parked in front of my garage.. my apartment complex has free-for-all parking and gets filled quick, so usually my roommate parks behind my garage when its full. tandem parking is allowed..

usually i would honk and scream till she got down to move her car but i saw parking close available. so i park, go upstairs to tell my roommate to swap spots she'll get the parking and ill get my garage. i have a single car detached garage. and we live on the third floor.

but she was sleeping. my roommate usually works graveyard from 11-6am. then school from 7-10am. works another job from 3-10pm 6-7days a week.. and last nite was her day off, so i didnt wanna bother her. plus it was late already.

the only time i have ever left my car outside, it gets slashed.. lone and behold i locked my glovebox and have nothing in my interior. i get out for work this morning and that shit is sliced on top, and on the passenger side... im sooo fcuking pissed..

ironically they didnt take anything??? radio is stock, broadway mirror is there, and surprisingly my vafcII was untouched.. didnt make sense, i spent 30min looking up and down the car..

anyhow.. iono im bummed.. i used some electrical and ductape to patch up some spots, but need to file a claim soon.. see my post in "s2000 talk" about what to do with the insurance..

anyhow.. somebody knows ive lived there, and i guess was just waiting for the chance.. a chance they had but didnt get anything out of it.

bastards.

 

daaamn jon that sucks!!!! let me know how insurance handles anything and hopefully you'll gain something from all this -_-

Sorry to hear, im going to replace my old softtop so if you need one for the time being you can have my old softtop.

Sorry to hear that Jon.....but you KNOW it's a fcuking neighbor that did that $hit!!!

Explanation: Your neighbors know who you are and what you drive. Parking is a bitch I'm sure the later it gets in the evening. When people know that you have a garage or any type of designated spot and you take up another spot that they usually use, they are quick to rage and mess with your car.

It happened to me and my eclipse.... I was fortunate enough that they didn't throw a brick but I woke up with eggs on it which was bad enough.

i wouldnt be a surprise if it was a neighbor.. before my roommate use to park in front of my garage there was a old diamante that kept parking in front of my garage, and only my garage!

i was pissed, so after the 4th night, i towed the bitch cause i couldnt get into my garage.. lucky the previous nights my car was already in the garage since i rode w/ friends, and the car was gone by the morning.

probably that neighorbor saw my car and finally decided to get me..

Damn Jon, sorry to hear that! I think you might be right- it sounds like a spite cut, if they didn't even take anything. It could have been worse though...imagine if they stole or sliced your seats. Good luck with the claim, hope it gets solved quick!
