Thumbs up "True Line"

I was referred to take my lowered S to True Line. Do any of you have experience with this company? I was told that they can service lowered cars because they don't require you to drive up on a ramp.

I prefer to take my business to reputable shops so let me know what you know...

I'm going to give them a call....

p.s. Mike....what's the name of the shop you mentioned again? I know it's like the 10th time I've asked you ........

I took an old car to trueline once. Good service and nice people.

Where i take my S is AJ USA off of Mira Mesa Blvd

AJ-USA, Inc.
6620 Mira Mesa Boulevard
San Diego, CA 92121-4300
(858) 452-8900

Give them a call, they really took care of me. They work on some really nice cars there too and are very knowledgable when it comes to auto-x setups, street setups etc. OH yeah, they even hand washed my car. Picked it up and it was super clean? *shrug*

cheers

D

I'll give them a call.......I'm looking for alignment for lowered cars so if they have a good setup I'll check them out.

I would prefer to not have to drive up a ramp..

Tim,

I've recommended "Preston's Tire & Wheel" to a bunch of folks. They have a very good alignment machine (Hunter) that shows your settings in real-time as they do the adjustments. They have no problem with my lowered S, and charge about $70.

Give Wayne a call over there and tell him "Hockey" sent you.
619-460-8311, located off Spring Street in La Mesa.

Good Luck,
David

p.s. I have no experience with True Line, sorry.

hey tim,

ive worked with trueline before with my eclipse, and they did a great job on camber adjustment and correction.

as for the ramp, there is a ramp.. its kind of weird how the shop is, all the work areas on the left has a big ass ramp, but on the right its minor..

when i had my eclipse they took it to the stall second on the left and scrapped the bottom of my side skirts..

i personally go to evans on convoy and aero, but they give me really really cheap prices and take really good care of my car.

just a heads up.

Come to thick of it i remember trueline scrapping the bottom of my accord as well. the bays closest to their office have a steep incline. Just as elude says, it is how the shop is, the ramp is cement.

my car is pretty low on buddyclubs and aj has no problems. They work on porsches that are setup low on a regular basis.

hockey's suggestion is awesome too, I had a friend take his car to wayne.

Hope it works out!

I had my alignment done at True Line before. They scaped the bottom of my lip to get me in the bay, damn cement ramp.

All and all, they had good customer service, which I like most.

Tim, you might want to look into the UK alignment specs for the S2000. I believe it goes a tad bit more aggressive in the rear for stability.

Do a SEARCH!

I had my alignment done at Express Tire. I think I paid $100 for a lifetime warranty.

if you buy your tires at Costco or discount tire, do they give you free alignments for the life of the tire?
