yea clay bar definitly will... i had some tar splashed on my lower fender and the clay bar got it !! it was tough but it came off

it depends on how much clear your car has.... to my knowledge if your car has been repainted with like a single stage (clear mixed in the paint) you cant wet sand it...

you should maybe go to a body shop and get the details checked out !!

After wetsanding you can buff it and it will be like new or wait better because it wont have any orange peel. Just make sure your clear coat is thick enough for this.

Most factory paint jobs range from 3.5 to 5.5 mils (87 to 137 microns). thinner readings indicate that the clear coat is wearing away or almost removed.

the color coat is usually about 10 microns or so, not sure

if you are going to wetsand, i suggest you get a meter. but for the price of a meter, you can get your paint repainted professionally

it also depends on which color car you have, some colors are thicker then others
