Default Wrap or Plastidip Shop?

I'm looking for a reputable shop for Wrapping or Plastidipping my s2k.

I just talked to SDwrap in Oceanside (http://sdwrap.com). They quoted me $1500 out the door.

They sound like they know what they're doing. They said they perform a Full disassembly, which includes:
Bumpers
Tail Lights
Door handles
Mirrors
Door panels

They Offer 3M, Arlon, and some other brand that I forgot the name.

Takes about 3-5 days. To maintain the Wrap, I should wash the car 2x a month to keep the wrap moist.

I would say Wrap>Plastidip, will hold up better and that price is pretty reasonable.

may I ask why you want to wrap/plastidip and not just paint?

You needa find a really good person who can plastidip, I have a couple friends who had their cars plastidip'd and at certain angles, you can see that the dip wasnt laid down evenly, so theres blotches. They paid $600 per car for their dips.

Wrap for sure. Looks better and easier to clean.

I would think it's due to cost. Getting a GOOD paint job on a car is easily $3000+

^yeah cost is one of my reasons as well as paint matching issues in the past. Plus I daily my s and would much rather replace a panel of wrap if something happens rather than get a panel repainted. And rock chips.

What colors and styles do you guys want? We do a "group buy" on wraps and save some money

I'm sure anyshop would love to get 3-5 extra cars each for a complete wrap!

I can't decide in the color. So was planning on using this as a temporary color change. But mainly, I just don't to pay that much for a good paint job. I'm thinking that a full paint job would be around $8-10k

Grease Alley Garage in Orange County does a good job with plasti dip, I've seen a lot of cars done on there Facebook page and Instagram
