I almost got scammed by Jack Sampson. He claimed that his S2ki user name is Icemans2k02. I was going to buy Aem V2 intake.


With a small research i found out Icemans2k02's name is bobby.


I already filed a claim with Paypal; which his email was jacksti05@gmail.com

His phone number was 347-919-6689

 

i tried calling him. no answer and the call went to one of those online free phones and texting services. usually people use those when they are up to no good and dont want anyone tracing back to them with their real number.

 

I don't know exactly what has happened. The actual Iceman2k02 (Bobby) has been a reputable member on here for many years. It's possible someone is impersonating him. Bobby is a long time friend of mine and this does not sound like something in his character.

 

I bet he doesn't even know it.

I think he was just impersonating him.

I was going to say, Icemans2k02 has been on the board for over 10 years. I've seen his posts before and never thought there would be an issue with him but that's not to say he couldn't try to scam you.

 

On a side note, jacksti05@gmail.com isn't a registered email address on s2ki.

 

He actually text me.

 

Never a bad idea to ask for a pic w. a tag in it, that has today's date, & other info.

Good catch, but you gotta be more careful from now on.

 

I've added his name to the scammers list.


This is a prime example of why you shouldn't post your phone number as a method of contact, scammers can simply text you with a fake number and take your money.
