Bought some "Great Condition nothing wrong with them headlights" and this is what I got..
Well figure I would post this up here to see what you guys think.
My AP1 headlights are pretty hazed up and have some scratches etc so I found someone selling a set of AP1 headlights in "Great condition. Nothing wrong with them at all. No cracks, scratches, hazing nothing"
Here is the for sale thread where I bought them from.

They were sold at a good price so I figured I would pick them up to have some cleaner great condition headlights on my car.
I asked multiple times to make sure there was not a single thing wrong with them. Was assured there were no marks, hazing, broken tabs anything.
Anyways I got them and this is how they look. Sure I MIGHT be able to buff it out and it would look better for a little while before the hazing would all come back.
Inside each headlight there are bubbles which my 183k mile stock ones still don't have.. Might be a common issue but I was not told about it as the seller was hiding that about them.
After contacting the seller he said what do you expect. Of course they are not perfect and they are sold as is..
Now I know they were sold fairly cheap but I only bought them to upgrade the condition of my stock headlights. Seller obviously knew about the issues with them but hid that from his for sale thread as well as when I asked him about them.
No tabs themselves are broken however one of the pieces of the headlights that the tab is attached to has a big crack in it and makes it bend easily and will probably break off completely easily.
What I got. Hazing on the one headlights has a textured feel. Clear coat from light is definitely gone and feels like it was sanded or something.

Yeah definitely not. Mine that I thought were busted up are in better condition.
He says they were not hazed when he shipped them and must be from heat during shipping lol.

it looks like whatever product was used to clean them wore off. you can sort of see the weird marks in one of the pictures. he probably thought they looked good after cleaning.
i just bought some ap2 lights so i am in need to sell my ap1's. they are definitely not in that bad of shape however they aren't mint. but i think a very light sand and polish/wax would clean them up.
those marks don't really look like they would come out. not even sure how that happens lol
