Default Bulletproof Automotive Feedback

I've had a bad experience with this company last year when I bought my Cusco 4 Point Roll Bar. I originally wanted the Safety 21 roll bar because of the black paint finish, but they told me that they didn't have those in stock and I would have to wait 8-12 months for the order (I highly doubt ANYTHING takes that long) even shipped from Japan. I told them to cancel my order and I wanted my money back, but they refused to refund me because it was part of their "disclaimer" about their refund policy (apparently NONE). Hunter then told me that they had a Cusco 4 Point Roll Bar in their warehouse. It was sort of the "you're not getting a refund anyways so take it or leave it." He sounded very professional and polite about it, but at the end, I felt I got screwed over.

I did not want to complain about it on S2Ki because I felt that this was one of those "one time bad experiences" and I don't feel like posting something that could hurt their reputation from a single bad experience.

Fast forward exactly one year...

I decided to give them a second chance and recently purchased the Backyard Special Driver's Side seat rail since they seem to be the only distributor on here that carried them. I really didn't want to purchase something from them again, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I didn't think I would get screwed over again. A day later, that feeling changed and none of the representatives followed up with me about the order. I've called them AND emailed them a couple of times and spoke to both Colin and Hunter. They told me that they would "get back to me" but twice have I been NOT contacted via email or phone. All I hear is that an employee that left the company that managed the sales operations and order. OK, shit happens, I understand...but that doesn't mean you could not simply follow up with your customer like you told them you would.

I sent them a pretty pissed off email (my second email after TWO phone calls) so we'll have to wait and see. I told Colin that I wanted my money back...I'm waiting for a response.

Spoke to Ben Shaffer, the owner and he solved everything for me. There were some logistics issues and he was kind enough to call me and sort everything out for me. Excellent customer service!
