i wish it started earlier. i've bought/sold things from/to over 30 members. some of them have even come in town to pick the stuff up (while on vacation or something). some of the transactions have even been through the same person two or three times.
edit: it's gotta be at least 45 members, i was wrong.

great ideas for a few forums people !!
Group Buys from registered members
Group Buys from Sponsors
And A feedback forum moderated by a group of 3 individuals
One Staff of s2ki.com, An owner and member of S2ki.com, and a
person that does own an S2000, (well respected by this community). As there can be a majority policy.
This to keep most issues to e-mail and PM's however true positive or problems with vendors and owners can be addressed.
Hopefully this can create rating system un-biased on dealing with S2000 International in general.
My Thoughts,
Regards,
David McCune Jr.

I like the idea but think it's fraught with possible implications. There have been some instances where accusations have been made against individual members and/or vendors that have turned out to be totally unwarranted and moderation has not proven to be a sufficient mechanism to protect those individuals against damage to their reputation or business.
The ratings idea is fine but how do you propose sorting the wheat from the chaff?
If the search engine were working I'd show you exactly what I mean.

The system only accepts YES votes, and the number of YES's will at least tell us which sellers have proven themselves to other members. If you are not listed as a "good" seller, you are either new or questionable, but at least no one gets flamed for no reason.

Do NOT buy ANYTHING from ks2k. He's a freaking scam artist and a moron at the same time. I am absolutely furious and it has tainted my willingness to purchase anything from this board at all, to be honest.
