First mod? SHINE AMUSE BUMPER!

Heres a review with my experience with Simon and Kevin of Group A motoring...

First off, I want to thank both of them for the great service they provided.

So it begins!
I purchased an amuse rep bumper from shine and asked Simon to make it work.
I pointed out the obvious bumper fitment issues with most amuse reps. He assured me it wouldnt be a problem.

of course, i was still worried but i have to give it a shot. Only one way to find out if he can really fix the known issues IE the bumper having fitment issues where the bumper meets with the hood/fender/headlight.

I was probably the biggest PITA since i really wanted an OEM fit with a replica bumper.
I didn't expect so much work and dedication to making it fit like OEM and was very pleasantly surprised.

Pros
- great fitment, near perfect OEM. 9.5/10
- paint matched
- reasonable price
- sends daily updates with pics

Cons? if any?
- takes a little over a week time to finish, but understandable.

but I really cant complain, because i would much rather them take their time and make the bumper fit, than give me a half assed job just because they have to meet my deadline.

keep in mind this isnt all of them, but i just chose the prime ones from each stage of development

first the bumper arrived, fitment began.
the immediate problem areas were fixed (headlight area/fender/hood) and many many pin holes were filled to provide a smooth finish.





next, sanding. from high grit to low. making it a perfectly smooth finish.



Then onto the paint booth, primer first!



and finally, the end product...
I'll let the pics speak for themselves.






as you can see the fitment is damn good.
dont hesitate, give simon/kevin a call and get a damn bumper.
