My Experiences with HardTopGuy
Ordered on the 24th, received order confirmation today with tracking number. Not that bad, worth waiting for. Hope HTG is able to stabilize during this time, and get back to attending everyone as he has always has.
Give him a break, your order will arrive.

All of you guys have absolutely nothing to complain about - very quick turnaround times.
A few days is nothing. I'm talking from pre-Dragon early April era.
I've been as polite as a person can be in both email and phone, and I haven't bitched once, since like I said he's a good guy and worthy of this delay as his transition into two other jobs could be taxing. Just a little hurt and wondering how in the heck he got to all of your orders before my simple one - lucky bastards!

I bought my 2nd s2000 from Jeff... He flew from Ohio to Tampa to pick it up from a friend of his. And drove a few hours from Tampa to Atlanta to bring me my 04 Hardtopped Ap2. In addition i bought a Front spoiler and trunk spoiler from him discounted and installed. Where can u get service like that?
I think alot of you should know and understand that most people right now is hurting financially. Im not trying to be one sided, people that paid do deserve their parts in a timing manner, but dont panic cause Jeff will pull things together for you.

This bad publicity is toxic for you Jeff. I've always heard that you were a good vendor, but you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Step up quick, fix the gaps in communications to your loyal clientel, and try your very best to instill confidence in yourself and your business. Don't let all your longstanding goodwill go down the tubes.

I don't think anyone here is panicked and worried that he will take payment and not send the items. Everyone knows of Jeff's contributions and should be applauded for them. This isn't about pitting one side versus the other and demonizing them. I'm trying to defend both sides here... from the customers' point of view, a quick status update would be very helpful so appointments with installers won't be broken repeatedly and in Jeff's defense, he's a very busy guy. We'll just have to be a bit more patient because in the end, I trust that he will come through like he has done in the past.
Confidence in your supplier is everything. I want HTG to succeed but because of the parade of folks writing in about their situation, it appears sad.
It's nice that he has a member to write niceties and explanations on his behalf. That may not be enough for some.
I hope he bounces back from this.

I'm sure he will. The point of this thread was for the people to be in the know about what Jeff is going through, so that they can sympathize with his situation. If I didn't give an update, people would be open to guessing and blasting him.
