Sorry to hear that man I lost alot of money awhile back on a different board best bet is to call your local pd and make a police report forward it to PayPal and cross your fingers.

I always ended up getting my money from paypal if someone didn't give me the goods. They take about 30 days but you can get it back.

You can only get the money back through paypal if the person you sent it to has money in their account or adds money to it at some point. Or if you paid with a credit card then you can do a chargeback.

Sorry to hear man. Definitely sucks!

OP if you paid via paypal using a credit card, just contact the credit card company right away and file a chargeback. Paypal will be forced to give the money if they don't get it back from the seller I believe. That's why paypal always wants you to pay with a bank account or something in case this happens so the buyer is out not them.

Right on, exactly. Call your credit card company.

I had sent some PMs to this guy when he had his AEM v2 for sale as well. He kept wanting the paypal to be sent as a "gift" which I think prevents you from getting protection from scams etc. I thought it was a red flag so I never responded to him. Glad I did, hopefully your credit card company covers you.
