Problems with WASP Composites
Hello, like others forum members here, I have also encountered major problems with Bryan Haj of WASP Composites.
It all started like this.
27/6/2014 - Have sent an enquiry regarding the following items.
1. S2000 Splitter + Mounting Kit
2. S2000 AP2 brake duct kit
We came to an agreement and have made payment for the goods mentioned above.

We continued to correspond to finalize my requirements on the splitter size.
8/7/2014
After finalizing the dimensions of the splitter, he apparently started the manufacturing of the splitter
28/8/2014
After waiting for a month, I have e-mailed Bryan on the status of the order. I was informed that the splitter has already been made and he has placed an order on the high temp hose for the brake cooling kit.
So far so good.
From here onwards, it became extremely hard to get into touch with Bryan, I have been sending him correspondences to update me on the progress of my order.
Emails sent on 29/9/2014, 13/10/2014 and 27/10/2014
There were no replies. I then contacted Norman for assistance since he was a previous customer of Bryans and have dealt with him before.
2/12/2014
I finally got a reply from Bryan and he claimed to have some problems with his invoicing system. He claimed that the items have been ready for some time now and is ready to ship right away.
Been sending Bryan many e-mails with no response from him until
28/7/2015
He sent a shipping label. I thought that my wait would finally be over but i later found out, it was just a shipping label, no cargo attached to this shipping label at all.
I then kept following up with bryan again with no response from him.
12/8/2015
The item has arrived and to my dismay, out of the 3 items that I have paid for, I have only received the carbon fiber splitter, no mounting kit, no brake cooling kit.
Below is the shipping invoice of the item.

Below is what i collected from FedEX

I am really at a lost on how i can get the rest of my order which has been paid for.
Once again Bryan is not responding to my correspondences.
In the end, I have paid $1,180.00 and all i got was a $300.00 carbon plate.

Not to make light of your problems, I had the same issues two years ago! There has to be 100 posts of Wasp doing the same. It cannot be a surprise to you. In the end they usually come thru and make good stuff but shipping and invoicing departments do not seem to function or even exist. I do not know how they have stayed is business with the worst customer service ever.
There are a bunch of legal actions that you could take, BBB, etc but it will really not help you get your parts quicker. You just have to keep calling and emailing even if he does not return your calls he will get the message. Sooner or later you will get the parts but who knows when that will be.

Had a similar issue with my splitter from WASP from what I understand they are a small operation that take on a little more product than they can turn out within the time periods they give. That being said they did take care of my order eventually and it was well worth the wait for the product I got but it definitely seems to be a trend on orders taking longer than they initially say. Great guys though all in all.
My major concern is that it has already taken more than a year. I believe such long lead times are not the norm. Lack of communication is also a major gripe as I do not know if they are still working on my order or they just conveniently decide not to honor the rest of the order.
Just more feedback about WASP. I joined a group buy for AP1 carbon canards. I Paypal'd a $50 deposit to them back in March 2015. Still to this day I have only received one response from him which was his phone number June 23, 2015. This was only after several Facebook messages about him reading my messages, not responding to them, yet still posting up about other products. When I finally did talk to him back in June he assured me that my canards would be completed an at my doorstep no later than beginning of August. Here we are in September and of course he has deleted his Facebook account and no longer answering my calls. I have yet to know if anyone in the group buy received their AP1 canards because I sure haven't.
