Default Rain H8r Positive Feedback

I purchased a AP1 valve cover from Rain H8r for him to do the baffling mod and send to me while I still drive my car.

His communication was great and shipping/packaging was excellent as well.

I did get the Valve cover Powdercoated red from his guy which caused a bit of delay due to Corona and him getting swamped with these jobs.

The coating came out excellent and seems to be MUCH more durable than the tired 17 year old cover on my car.

I'll post some pictures on here of the valve cover and all once installed. I'm doing retainers+keepers, valve stem seals, and such at the same time.

Before

And after! It's excellent

Absolutely, while I am 100% confident doing retainers or swapping my transmission I wouldn't trust doing this myself. Him and Ben (PuddyMod) do a great job!

That's also a factor. I saw someone with the RainH8R license plate but I don't think the 70 year old lady in a VW Beetle Convertible is Dustin

I have not personally done business with him but we have spoke a few times. He seems like a very good man and he has a lot of knowledge on the platform!

your VC must have been powdercoated the same time as mine based on the date you posted. Dustin/rainh8r has been great to deal with!

Most likely, I purchased a used VC from him on discount when he posted on FB then got SLAMMED with other people's too.

Mine came out great, it's hard to tell it's not OEM unless you have another VC side by side

I believe I was the last one to get it, but I did want the AP2v1 cover but oh well, it looks more original now.

Still would recommend it to anyone considering a catch can even for track work.
